Ariyai Community News Agency – Today, Friday, December 4, 1401, agents of the Intelligence Department in Mashhad, the capital of Razavi Khorasan province, arrested Sanaz Tafzali, a Baha’i citizen.

According to the report of the Ariyai community news agency, on Tuesday, December 1, 1401, Sanaz Tafzali, a Baha’i citizen living in the city of Mashhad, the capital of Khorasan Razavi province, was arrested after the raid of the Intelligence Department of this city on his personal home after searching and confiscating some of his personal belongings. He was taken to the detention center of this security organization for questioning.

Explaining this news, an informed source said: “Sanaz Tafzali’s arrest took place when he was traveling in his personal car, and the agents of the Intelligence Department took him to his home and searched and confiscated some personal belongings from him and his child.” They arrested him and took him with him.

Until the moment of writing this news, there is no information about the legal cases of the accusations attributed to Sanaz Tafzali.

On September 1, 1401, Amnesty International reacted by issuing a call for immediate action against the repression and increased security pressure on Baha’i citizens and requested the international community to consider a comprehensive solution to deal with such actions by the Iranian government.

On July 30, 1401, the World Baha’i Community warned against the increase in security pressures and widespread arrests, and the suppression of the deprivation of Iranian Baha’is from their citizenship rights in Iran.
