The six-month prison sentence of Ali Pouyan Moghaddam, a citizen of Sabzevar, was upheld as is by Branch 35 of the Appeals Court of Razavi Khorasan Province.
According to Harana News Agency, the news outlet of the Iranian Human Rights Activists Collective, Ali Pouyan Moghaddam was sentenced to prison.
An informed source close to the family of this citizen confirmed this news in an interview with Harana and reported: “Last week, Branch 35 of the Appeals Court of Razavi Khorasan Province upheld and issued the six-month prison sentence for Mr. Pouyan Moghaddam as is.”
According to information received by Harana, Branch One of the Sabzevar Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Gholami, sentenced Mr. Pouyan Moghaddam to six months imprisonment last February for the charge of propaganda against the Islamic Republic regime.
Ali Pouyan Moghaddam, son of Safar, a citizen of Sabzevar, was arrested by security forces on May 4, 2023, and was released on bail on May 6 of the same year.
