According to the Aryaeian Society News Agency, Prince Reza Pahlavi, the former Crown Prince of Iran, described the current state of the Islamic Republic after the Israeli attacks as a golden and unprecedented opportunity to overthrow the regime, in an exclusive interview with BBC One.
He emphasized that with the weakening of the power structure and the elimination of key figures in the regime, the balance of forces has shifted in favor of the people, and the time for fundamental change has arrived. Pahlavi stated that the Iranian people have now found new energy and hope, and a new wave of non-violent civil disobedience is underway.
Reza Pahlavi, pointing out that the Iranian people see the regime itself as the root of the problems, said the only logical solution to save the country and the free world is to end this government. He also emphasized that this historic opportunity must be well utilized so that Iran becomes free and the world is freed from nuclear threats and extremism.
In response to a question about concerns over Israeli attacks and civilian casualties, he said the main goal is to neutralize the regime’s threats, and the Iranian people welcome any action that weakens the regime, as it reduces pressure and repression on them.
Furthermore, Pahlavi described his role as creating unity and cooperation among opposition forces to achieve the overthrow of the regime and hold democratic elections, stating that he is aware of supportive contacts inside the country, especially from the military, which indicate significant developments.
