The arrest of 60 asylum seekers by the Cyprus Coast Guard
According to the news agency of the Aryan community, the Cyprus Coast Guard has announced the arrest of dozens of migrants on the coast of this country. These immigrants were trying to enter the territory of the European Union.
On Monday, a group of 60 migrants were arrested by the Cyprus Coast Guard in the Mediterranean Sea near this country. These immigrants had started their journey from Lebanon to the European Union using a boat.
Officials in Cyprus have said that these migrants are to be transferred to a camp in Nicosia, the capital of this country.
The semi-state news agency of Cyprus known as (CNA) said, this camp is full and more migrants live there than its capacity.
In proportion to the population of Cyprus, the island nation receives more asylum applications each year than any other member of the European Union.
On the other hand, the influx of refugees to Greece continues. The crew of a cargo ship rescued 69 migrants from a damaged boat en route to Turkey and Italy last week. These immigrants were transferred to the port of Kalamata. The Greek Coast Guard said that six of these people were arrested as human traffickers.
