According to the news agency of the Aryan community, on Wednesday 16 September 1401, Neda Abdian, Shafaq Fahandej, Shagaig Pouranaiti and Hoda Kanani, four Baha’i citizens living in Gorgan located in Golestan province, were interrogated for a few hours after being summoned by phone to the intelligence department of this city. were placed

Explaining this news, an informed source said: “Since the security pressure on Baha’i citizens continues to increase, the interrogators of the Gorgan Intelligence Department announced to Hoda Kanani, Shafaq Fahandej, and Shaghaig Enayati, who are experts in music and composition, that by entrusting The pledge should not work in this field, and on the other hand, Neda Abdian has been asked not to work in kindergartens, and the cause of this problem was religious propaganda by these Baha’i citizens.

It should be noted that on August 9, 1401, agents of the Gorgan Intelligence Department raided the homes of Baha’i citizens in Gorgan city and searched the homes of Shafaq Fahandej and Shagaig Pouranaiti.

Also, on September 2, 1401, Hoda Kanaan’s residence was seized by agents of the Gorgan Intelligence Department and some personal belongings of this Baha’i citizen, and she was informed that they would be contacted for summons and interrogation.

According to the circular of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution approved on March 6, 1369, Baha’i citizens are deprived of any citizenship rights and face all kinds of human rights violations and coercive acts by the government of the Islamic Republic.

On September 1, 1401, Amnesty International called for an end to the repression of Iran’s Baha’is by publishing a request for immediate action while strengthening the repression and applying security and social pressures on the Baha’i community of Iran due to the religious beliefs of these citizens.

Also, on July 30, 1401, the World Baha’i Community issued a statement warning against the increase in security pressures and the widespread wave of arrests, and the suppression of the deprivation of Iranian Baha’is from their citizenship rights in Iran.

The systematic repression of Baha’is in Iran violates international human rights documents, including Article 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Articles 18 and 19 of this valid international document, as well as Article 18 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
