Refusal of the appeal of Joseph Shahbazian, Mina Khajovi Qomi and Samia Sadegh
Less than a week ago, the 36th branch of the Revolutionary Court rejected the appeal of Joseph Shahbazian, Mina Khajovi Qomi, and Samiyeh Sadegh. According to the notification that was issued by Branch 36 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on Wednesday, August 26, and delivered to Iman Soleimani, the lawyer defending these citizens, Joseph Shahbazian was sentenced to 10 years in prison, deprived of social rights, prohibited from leaving the country, and prohibited from joining the gang. Accusation of promoting Zionist Christianity and membership in opposition groups
These people were arrested on charges of “promoting Zionist Christianity” and “membership in opposition groups” in a widespread wave of arrest and interrogation of Christians in the summer of 2019, and a case was filed against them.
