The arrest of Zaniar Mohammadnejad following the protest against Mehsa Amini’s death
Ariyai Community News Agency – Zaniar Mohammadnejad, a resident of Tehran, was arrested on Friday, 25 September, during the protests against the death of Mehsa (Zina) Amini, in front of Kasri Hospital and was taken to an unknown place.
According to the news agency of Jamia Aryaei, on Friday 25 September 1401, Zaniar Mohammadnejad was arrested in Tehran.
An informed source close to Mr. Mohammadnejad’s family said: “Zaniar joined the protestors in front of the Kasri Hospital building in Tehran in protest against the death of Mehsa (Zina) Amini.” A few hours later, he made a short call to his family and said that he was arrested by the security forces along with several other protesters and was being transported to an unknown location in a police van. Since that night, Zaniar has not made any other contact with his close people, and the lack of information about his condition has led to an increase in the worries of Mr. Mohammadnejad’s family about the fate of their son. Zaniar Mohammadnejad, 23 years old, is a citizen of Sanandaj and lives in Tehran.
In this regard, on Friday, 25th Shahrivar, the news of the arrest of civil activist Leila Mirghafari in front of Kasri Hospital and his transfer to the Tehran Security Police was published.
Mehsa (Zina) Amini, a 22-year-old young woman from Saqqez, Kurdistan province, who had traveled to Tehran, was arrested on Tuesday last week at Tehran’s Haqqani metro station by moral security police officers. A few hours later, his half-lifeless body was transferred from the detention center to the special care department of Kasri Hospital, and he finally died in this hospital on Friday, September 25, 1401.
It should be noted that many citizens and well-known figures are still reacting to the arrest of Mehsa (Gina) Amini under the pretext of confronting “bad hijab” and her death in Kasri Hospital in Tehran.
